Summer Connections
Traditionally, summer is a time when Renewal activities slow down due to travel and vacations. To keep the community spirit alive during this season, we’re hosting volunteer-led “Summer Connection” events that encourage community and connection while our Community Groups (CGs) are on pause. If you’re looking for ways to meet new people, these informal events are a great opportunity to connect with others.
These events are hosted by members or regular attenders of Renewal, providing a chance to engage with people outside of your Community Group while CGs take a break. Feel free to sign up for as many events as you’d like! A variety of events will be available, and if you’re interested in hosting one, please fill out this form. The events will run from June through the end of August.

July Summer Connections
Donuts + Hiking
Join us for a light breakfast treat and nature walk at John Heinz Wildlife Refuge, a gem of nature in Philadelphia just 20 minutes from church. 🙂 BYO coffee/tea/beverages; we’ll provide the donuts. Please RSVP by July 20.
Escape Room
Join us on July 18 from 1:30-4:30pm as we tackle a new escape room in our area, The Witch’s Cauldron – Restoration. The cost is $32/person. We’ll travel together to Cherry Hill to puzzle our way out of a “locked” room (by law we will not actually be locked in for safety reasons). There is a max capacity for this event, so please fill out this form so we know how much interest there is. If there is enough interest, we can arrange for another group to do a second room either that same afternoon or another day. This room’s theme may not be appropriate for children, but if families are interested, you can still fill out the form and let us know you’d be interested if a second room is scheduled.
