Sri Lanka Mission Trip:
The Missions Committee is excited to announce a short term missions trip opportunity for July 3-14, 2025. We have the opportunity to send a team to Sri Lanka to join the work of one of our very own missionary families, the E family. If you would like to apply, click here! Bethesda Project:
We’re looking for volunteers to join the residents at My Brother’s House to serve lunch on Saturday, January 25th, from 11:30 AM to 2:00 PM. Bethesda Project is a nonprofit in Philadelphia that provides emergency shelter, housing, and support services to the homeless community. Renewal Center City partners with Bethesda Project’s safe haven for men, My Brother’s House. Each month, we gather on the last Saturday of the month to prepare and share a meal with the residents. Our desire is to share Christ’s love through fellowship and breaking bread together. Please sign up here. Newcomer’s Luncheon:
The Welcoming Committee is hosting a Newcomers Luncheon on February 2nd in Conference Room B, immediately following the service. While our last luncheon was recent, we invite those who are new, looking to get involved, or interested in becoming a member to join us. This is a great opportunity to meet fellow church members and leadership. We’ll provide lunch, so please RSVP here by January 30th.

Congregational Prayer and Fast:
In this season of transition for our church, we invite the entire congregation to join us in a dedicated time of prayer and fasting. Corporate prayer gatherings will be held every Wednesday in February, from 8:00 PM to 9:00 PM, here in the Crane Building in a conference room. This season of prayer and fasting will begin on February 5, 2025, and conclude on February 26, 2025.

During this time, we will intentionally seek God’s guidance, wisdom, and blessing as we prepare for this important transition. We encourage everyone to participate as we trust God to lead us into this new chapter together.

Missionary Family Luncheon:
One of our missionary families will be visiting Center City on Sunday, February 9th. Join us after service for a luncheon at Little Saigon Cafe to connect with them and hear about their work. Please sign up here. RSVPs will be capped at 18 people, so be sure to reserve your spot soon!

Membership Class:
If you’re interested in learning more about our church and becoming a member, we invite you to attend our Membership Class on Sunday, February 23rd, from 12:00 PM to 2:30 PM. Please sign up here if you are interested! While optional, we highly encourage those considering membership to also attend our Theology 101 class, to gain a deeper theological understanding of what we believe in. The Theology 101 class will be held on Saturday, March 1st, at 10:00 AM at the West Philly Building.

Prayer Ministry:
Wednesday Night Prayer meetings are open from 8-9pm for anyone to come have fellowship and pray; locations change on a weekly basis and will be shared in the weekly newsletter. We also invite you to share your prayer requests via our website. If you are interested in hosting prayer meeting from your home, please contact Hannah Jo at CCPrayer@renewalchurch.org.

Renewal Volleyball:
Our volleyball group has been going strong and growing! We would love for this to be an outreach opportunity, especially as many non-Renewal attendees have been joining us.
