• Community Dinners in January and February- The Micah 6:8 committee is organizing a series of Renewal community dinners, and you are invited to join and/or host!  The purpose of these gatherings is to facilitate community by mixing people across friend groups, life stages, ethnicities, and other differences. By breaking bread together and having a little bit of intentional conversation, we hope to break down barriers and strengthen the bonds of our body. This first round of dinners will take place in  January/February, so we are accepting RSVPs through January 18.  We look forward to seeing you there!  Sign up here.
• CM Paint Day, part 2! Saturday, Februay 7, 10a-1pm. Help us make a beautiful difference for the Children’s Ministry! We are looking for extra hands to help paint walls! Sign up to paint!
• Gender Roles Class– We invite everyone to participate in a Sunday School class, “Gender Roles in the Church,” every Sunday at 12:15-1:00 pm from January through March. This Sunday, Jan 18 the class will meet on the 2nd floor with guest speaker, Steve Taylor on the topic of “Hermeneutics: How We Read Scripture”. No RSVPs are needed. You’re welcome to bring your own lunch to eat during the class. If you can’t attend in person, recordings will be made available, as will discussion questions for Community Groups and other study groups. Our hope and prayer is that we can learn, discern, and converse together as a church, as we journey towards the next chapter of God’s calling on us as the body of Christ.
• Offering Statements for 2025 – If you have given your offering to our church and are interested in receiving your 2025 offering statement, please email the treasury team at treasury@renewalchurch.org. Letters will only be generated upon request.
  

• Leatherman Prayer Breakfast- Jan 24  Our far-flung congregants Matt and Jamie Leatherman are impacting South Asia for Christ. Come to 2nd Floor on Saturday, January 24, at 9am to meet them over Zoom, learn about their family’s work in South Asia, and enjoy fellowship with one another over breakfast! RSVP by January 19.

• Opportunities to Serve & Care for our Church & Community- In this transitional season, we have an opportunity to thoughtfully reexamine both what we do and how we do it. We are eager to look afresh at our practices, consider meaningful improvements, and reflect on how our structures are serving our members. Here are four ways for members to support the Session, Women’s Council, and Diaconate: Felt Needs, Prayer Team/Relational Engagement, Community Engagement, Building. If interested in serving in any of these ways, please fill out this form.
• Community Groups Community Groups meet throughout the week in various locations and are meant to encourage fellowship, love and connection within our church and neighborhood communities and help us apply our faith in practical ways. Some of our groups are pretty full, so we are also looking for Renewal Members to consider leading a group! If you have any questions or interest in our CGs, please sign up or head to our Welcome Table to speak with someone after the service.
• Care for the Fordes As many of you have heard, the Forde family is walking through an incredibly difficult season. Isaac and Claudia’s 3 year old daughter Ilona was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia. You can sign up to help with their Meal Train and/or you can give to the Forde family care fund on Renewal’s giving page. You can select “Forde Family” in the dropdown menu. Finally, there is a GoFundMe page. This is suitable for people who aren’t connected to Renewal. We are also organizing a group to assist with occasional childcare and household tasks.
