• Renewal Beach Day – We invite you to join our church for a fun beach day at Ocean City, NJ on Saturday, July 11. We will meet at the beach, play games, eat lunch, and enjoy the beautiful summer weather together. For more details, Sign up here! 
• Communion Reminder– Next Sunday, May 31, we will be taking the Lord’s Supper together. Please prepare your hearts to partake and remember the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus. 
• Missionary Prayer Breakfast – Join us for a Missionary Prayer Breakfast on Saturday, May 30th, from 9:00–10:30 AM as we connect with WH & K and their daughter serving faithfully in East Asia. Come enjoy a light breakfast and hear updates from their ministry supporting churches, education, and mentoring. We will  spend time praying for their family and the work God is doing through them. All are welcome! RSVP by Sunday, May 24th.
• Children’s Summer Sunday School – We need your help with our children’s Sunday School! As our regular teachers take a break for the summer, we are looking for volunteers to serve for the summer term and/or in the upcoming school year. It’s a wonderful opportunity to get to know our amazing kids and dive deep into God’s Word! We are open to volunteers who are able to commit one to two times a month. Every volunteer must have all of their clearances up to date. If you have any questions, please reach out to children@renewalchurch.org or talk with Pearl Kim or Sydney Goneau.
• Summer Connections – As we look ahead to the summer, I’d like to encourage you to start thinking about Summer Connections. While our Community Groups are on pause for the summer, we’ll be starting up our annual tradition of having you all organize community gatherings and activities to foster connections and shared experiences. In the past we’ve had activities like hiking, painting, game night, worship night, and focused discussions on a topic. If you are interested in hosting or joining a Summer Connection, learn more here!
• Community Groups Community Groups meet throughout the week in various locations and are meant to encourage fellowship, love and connection within our church and neighborhood communities and help us apply our faith in practical ways. Some of our groups are pretty full, so we are also looking for Renewal Members to consider leading a group! If you have any questions or interest in our CGs, please sign up or head to our Welcome Table to speak with someone after the service.
• Run/Walk Club– If you would like to run or walk with others one Saturday a month, enjoy the good weather and build a rhythm of communal life with others, we encourage you to fill out this interest form!
• Opportunities to Serve & Care for our Church & Community- In this transitional season, we have an opportunity to thoughtfully reexamine both what we do and how we do it. We are eager to look afresh at our practices, consider meaningful improvements, and reflect on how our structures are serving our members. Here are four ways for members to support the Session, Women’s Council, and Diaconate: Felt Needs, Prayer Team/Relational Engagement, Community Engagement, Building.
