- Congregational Meeting- Please save the date for our Congregational Meeting on Sunday, December 14 at 12:30. RSVP for lunch and childcare by Sunday, December 7, 2025.
- Renewal Mom’s Group- Renewal Mom’s Group is hosting a Wreath Making & Dinner Party for our moms of all stages (newly pregnant to empty nesters)! Please join us on the 2nd floor on Saturday, December 13 from 4-7pm for an evening of dinner, fellowship and wreath-making. Please feel free to invite a family member, coworker, neighbor or friend! RSVP by December 6.
- Our annual Lessons & Carols Service is coming up on Sunday, December 7th. This service is a Christmas celebration where we sing Christmas carols and hear the beautiful stories of Jesus’ birth in a variety of languages from both members of our congregation and missionary families. We will also serve refreshments upstairs after the service.
- Cedar Park Neighbors-Holiday Basket Drive – Renewal is hosting the Cedar Park Neighbors annual holiday basket drive on Saturday, December 20th from 8:00am-11:30am. We are looking for volunteers to help with set-up, packing meals, and clean-up. If you are able to help, please email Daniel Sung at: sungda@gmail.com .
- Community Groups Community Groups meet throughout the week in various locations and are meant to encourage fellowship, love and connection within our church and neighborhood communities and help us apply our faith in practical ways. Some of our groups are pretty full, so we are also looking for Renewal Members to consider leading a group! If you have any questions or interest in our CGs, please sign up or head to our Welcome Table to speak with someone after the service.
- Care for the Fordes As many of you have heard, the Forde family is walking through an incredibly difficult season. Isaac and Claudia’s 3 year old daughter Ilona was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia. You can sign up to help with their Meal Train and/or you can give to the Forde family care fund on Renewal’s giving page. You can select “Forde Family” in the dropdown menu. Finally, there is a GoFundMe page. This is suitable for people who aren’t connected to Renewal. We are also organizing a group to assist with occasional childcare and household tasks. If you’re interested in helping, please reach out to Joanna Hess at joannaflee@gmail.com.
- Children’s Ministry Director We are currently looking to hire a part time Children’s Ministry director for our West Philly campus. If you are interested, please review the job description and if you have any questions, contact session@renewalchurch.org

If you have a background or interest in marketing or communications, we would love to have you help us evaluate and develop our communication plan. Multimedia Team
Our Multimedia Team plays a vital role in supporting worship by running slides and videos each week. This behind-the-scenes ministry is an important way to serve and help our church engage fully in worship. We are looking for volunteers to join the team—no experience is needed, and training will be provided. Please contact: wpmultimedia@renewalchurch.org

West Philly Playgroup
A neighborhood playgroup will be moving their playgroup to Renewal’s building on the 1st + 3rd Thursdays from 9:30-11:30 am. If you would like to join this playgroup or simply meet other neighborhood families, please contact Kyu at kyuboemlee@renewalchurch.org.
