Pastor Dwight’s Farewell Luncheon
Please join us in celebrating Pastor Dwight’s many years of leadership and service to Renweal TODAY after service at 12:30 PM for lunch.
Renewal Women’s Retreat
We are thrilled to invite the women of Renewal to a one-day retreat on Saturday, May 18th from 9:30am-4:00pm. Our theme is “Women Supporting Women: Navigating Life’s Joys & Trials Together”. Together, we’ll be exploring ways to support one another through life’s various seasons and enrich our community. Julie Lowe, a well-renowned counselor and author, will be joining us as our speaker. The retreat will take place at Retreat to St. Thomas in Fort Washington – which is about a 35 min drive from here. There is a fee of $36. We want to make sure everyone who’s interested can join, so please mark your calendars and register by May 2nd.
Young Life Teen Mom’s Camp
There is a new service opportunity with a Christian organization called YoungLife that works with youth throughout the country. In Philly, there is a program specifically to support teen moms and share the gospel with them. Every year they have an awesome retreat for the moms and ask for volunteers from local churches to provide childcare for the duration of the retreat. Everything is paid for, they just ask that you come and care for the kids (infants to 3 year olds) while the moms can fully enjoy the retreat. There have been many beautiful testimonies and much fruit as a result of this program. The retreat itself is from August 4th-9th. If you’re interested, please email us at office@renewalchurch.org

Good communication is vital to the health of any church and we’d like to prioritize that more here. If you have a background or interest in marketing or communications, we would love to have you help us evaluate and develop our communication plan. Join Welcoming Team!
The Welcoming Team is in need of volunteers! If you are looking for a way to serve at Renewal, consider welcoming! All ages, personalities, and stages of life can participate. If you can make it to service 30 minutes early 1-2 times a month, and if you have a heart for our church to be a welcoming space, please join us! Email renewal.welcomingcommittee@
Scripture Reading
We have members of our church read scripture for us each Sunday. Our rotation currently means each volunteer would read 2-3 times per year. If you are interested in reading for us please sign up here!
Praise Team & Sound
We are in need of volunteers to join the West Philly praise team and sound. If you are interested, please reach out to worship@renewalchurch.org

Yoo Family
- Pray for the range of emotions that Pastor Dwight, his wife, Paula, and their 4 children are feeling as they end their time worshiping at West Philly and transition to be present regularly at our Center City campus.
- Pray that CC would be able to warmly welcome them and be excited for what’s in store as Pastor Dwight invests in building up the leaders there.
- Let’s also pray for the future of this church as a lot of discussions and preparations are taking place.
